All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers present at ATC 2013 are required to adhere to the following code of conduct. ATC organisers will be deployed to impose this code throughout the event. We expect you to cooperate and help us make this event safe and enjoyable for every individual present at the event.
ATC organisers will ensure that the environment of the event is harassment free for everyone. Harassment includes verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy of the event, which prevents them from utilising sexualized images, activities, or other material. Volunteers and booth staff should not use sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualized environment.
If you are being harassed or notice that someone is being harassed report the matter immediately to the organisers of ATC 2013. You can identify the organisers through their NASSCOM identification cards.
If any individual is found guilty of harassing another person, the authorities will take action deemed fit according to the situation. We request you to comply by the rules as they are laid for your own safety. We value your attendance at the event.
Smoking is not permitted inside the venue of ATC 2013, however, attendees can smoke at the designated smoking areas.
Any attendee involved in solicitation or selling of items or services is liable for expulsion from ATC 2013.
ATC organisers hold authority in the matter of admittance or removal of attendees, volunteers, speakers and sponsors at any time at their sole discretion. Improper behaviour or failing to follow the conduct are some of the reasons for the refusal of admittance or removal of the attendees.
